Tragedy Strikes in Wellsprings!

By Rodrigo Stevenson

Every district has rougher sections, but it seems that Wellsprings has seen more than its share of trouble lately. Last week, we brought you news of the battle between Kuzna’s Dogs and Valentinos , but it seems that was only the start of the trouble.

Wellsprings has long been described as Dangerous. There have long been rumors that Kuzna’s Dogs has been funneling Stolen Cyberware into the area. NCPD has investigated Kuzna’s Dogs involvement several times but has never been able to confirm anything.

“Our business ain’t NCPD’s business,” Kuzna’s Dogs spokesperson famously said earlier this year.

The fighting was surprisingly short-lived. Valentinos seemed to be preparing in to storm the Apartment, but quickly fell back, perhaps due to chatter that Kuzna’s Dogs reinforcements were gunning it to get there. Interestingly, one bystander reported seeing a Valentinos making a getaway with a metal briefcase in hand. More details as we receive them!

Corporate Peace Talks or Proxy War?

By Evangeline Andersson

In a rare show of unity, representatives from Zetatech and Biotechnica appeared side by side this week at the Chiba Heights Corporate Plaza, announcing a "revolutionary bio-sustainable initiative" aimed at rehabilitating Night City’s decaying water purification systems.

They smiled. They shook hands. They talked about “hope for the future.”

But in the shadows of Watson's cracked infrastructure, the smell isn't just recycled CHOOH2 runoff—it's the stench of a turf war barely disguised by press releases.

Sources within the zone report strange activity along the North Watson hydropower grid, especially near substations nominally controlled by Zetatech but now sporting Biotechnica-branded drones. Freelance techs have been quietly approached with offers to “patch or sabotage,” depending on which megacorp is doing the asking that week.

“They say it’s collaboration,” muttered a local water rigger named Slush, “but when two corps ‘work together,’ it's usually code for 'divide and conquer'.”
